Prepare contract obligations with human review
Obligations are easy to miss when they are buried in definitions, schedules, and exceptions. Contract Obligation Pack helps turn one authorised contract into an obligation-focused review with parties, owners, dates, triggers, evidence, and open questions. It supports procurement handover and renewal preparation, but it is not legal advice and cannot decide whether a party complied or a clause is enforceable.
Read each promise with its trigger
Identify who acts, what is delivered, when or how often, what condition applies, and what proves completion. A service credit may require measurement, notice, and a claim window. A confidentiality duty may survive termination. A report may depend on a missing schedule. Preserve definitions and cross-references instead of reducing every obligation to an imperative sentence.
Separate duties from rights
Mark permissions, options, targets, representations, warranties, and firm duties differently. “May request” is not “must provide”; an effort standard is not a fixed deadline. If an amendment changes the base agreement, include it or flag the register as incomplete. Never guess an owner or date from a counterparty name.
Make follow-up controlled
For each accepted row record internal owner, external party, action, due window, prerequisite, evidence location, and escalation route. Finance, customer success, procurement, and legal may own different rows. Keep source pages available. A generated register must not send notices, waive rights, calculate damages, or mark compliance complete. Contract files may contain pricing and personal data; process only authorised material.
Start with one agreement
Visit Contract Obligation Pack, verify the proposed register against signed wording and related schedules, and assign each accepted action to a real person. Organised extraction reduces searching while leaving interpretation and accountability with the contract owner.
