Plan WCAG remediation from a PDF or scan
Teams often inherit PDFs, forms and scanned documents without a clear accessibility backlog. Accessibility Remediation Pack turns one source document into an organised starting point for remediation planning.
Turn an unclear document problem into a prioritised plan
This angle is useful for content owners, design teams and accessibility leads who need to decide what to inspect first. The service extracts source text, produces a remediation brief and creates a CSV register of identified issues. The output is designed to support a conversation about priorities, owners and verification work rather than replace it.
A report can make an initial review easier to share with a product, publishing or procurement team, especially when the original source is a scan that is difficult to search manually.
A practical document-to-remediation workflow
The interface is deliberately focused on one source document. After processing, the private workspace exposes downloadable files that can be passed to the people responsible for content, design or technical fixes.
- Upload one PDF, PNG, JPG/JPEG or TIFF document, up to 80 MB.
- Choose the report language and set an accessibility target, such as WCAG 2.2 AA.
- Review the downloaded brief, issue register, source text and JSON before assigning work.
Use the API in an existing review process
For a repeatable intake workflow, send the multipart file with the action name and the language and standard parameters. The asynchronous response provides an identifier. Your application can poll the action status and download each result when processing is complete.
This makes it possible to connect a document repository or an internal review queue while keeping the final remediation decision with your team.
Keep human testing and content rights in the workflow
Accessibility findings are decision support, not a certification. Validate the suggested issues and WCAG references with qualified manual testing, including the real user journeys and assistive technology relevant to the document.
Only submit documents you are authorised to process, and check the final file before it is distributed or published.
Start with a document your team can review
Accessibility Remediation Pack can help your team create a reviewable first remediation backlog from one document.
