Review requirements for test design

Test Design Pack accepts one authorised PDF or scan up to 80 MB and prepares a test-design report, test-case CSV, requirements-traceability CSV, and JSON. It helps a product team connect requirements to actors, inputs, scenarios, expected results, data, and environments before execution. It does not run a build, prove quality, or decide whether the requirement itself is correct.

Read each requirement as a promise

Identify trigger, actor, input, constraint, and observable result. A checkout needs successful payment, declined card, duplicate submission, and session timeout cases. A file import needs valid, unsupported, oversized, corrupt, duplicate, and foreign-owner cases. These outcomes are not interchangeable. A traceability row should point back to exact wording and show what remains unclear, rather than merely increasing the case count.

State preconditions

Record role, starting record, feature setting, fixture data, dependency state, and evidence location. If the source omits a necessary condition, flag it for the product owner instead of inventing a convenient setup. Use synthetic or authorised data only. A test involving an action or hosted file must preserve server-side ownership; changing an ID cannot grant access.

Review with the people who own behaviour

Product confirms intent, engineering confirms observable signals, QA confirms execution, and security adds abuse and authorisation scenarios. Reviewers should split overloaded requirements, correct assumptions, and add boundary and recovery paths. Keep secrets, internal hosts, and private records out of shareable test material. The generated pack is a structured first draft, while the accepted contract belongs to the team.
